Sometimes I think I must suffer from adult attention deficit disorder. I have way too many interests and things I want to learn to do. I can't keep my focus on any one project for too long before I see something else I want to try. It can be frustrating (especially for my family) because I often will start a project, find something else I want or need to do, and not get around to finishing that project for a while. I also tend to start something, be completely focused on it, and realize that I forgot to go to the grocery store, and it's 5 o'clock with nothing ready for dinner. I started this blog with such great intentions. I planned on blogging often and using it as a journal of sorts. I even take pictures often to remind myself to post them and write of my life. Then, my mind will start spinning about projects, projects, projects, and I don't get around to posting them. Oh well, at least those that know me well know it is just part of my personality to be "flighty". Anyway, here is a bit of what's been going on here:
We had a pretty fun Valentine's at the Leavitt's. The Saturday before, Mike and I went to Tucson with our friends Jared and Buffy. We went to Pei Wei for dinner and ate way more than should have been possible. Afterwards we went to the movies. It was great to get out and have adult conversation with two people we really like to hang out with. On Valentine's day, we made the kids cheese steak sandwiches as they requested it, and had the Bartholets over for dinner and to dance with us (dance central for the kinect is so fun!). I made these Valentine jars for the kids for their gifts. They aren't really enthusiastic about anything that isn't cash money, but I think they liked these well enough.

Then the next weekend, we went out and broke in all of our paintball gear. It was so fun. The whole family went and spent the day out in the wind shooting eachother with pleasure. There were 3 other families with us which made it so fun. Taylor and Levi are sharpshooters who tend to win most of the games we played. We decided that we are going to have a family paintball tournament just as soon as we can schedule everyone down to S.V. for it. We even went this week and bought a bunch of camo gear for those who don't have any, and more guns.

Another interest that has kept me busy is Women's soccer. Yup, it started up again and Mike is
bullying coaching us around this season again. I will get team pictures up soon.
And to top off our craziness, the new office is coming along and lots of decisions have had to be made about it. They hope to be moved in by the end of May I think, but I don't remember for sure.
Some other things I want or plan on doing is another subway art like this one,
refinishing the other dresser, making slip covers for 2 chairs, and making a new comforter for my bed. Oh yeah, and learn how to really use my camera, clean out the garage, have a yard sale, organize storage unit, spring clean the house, and so many other things. I guess I better go to the grocery store now before I forget to make dinner tonight!
Oh, I have another for you to put on your list.
