chair makeover

I finished the chair last night!  YAY!  Okay, so I know it isn't perfect.  It was my first upholstery job.  I also decided just to use an old sheet to cover it.  I don't know yet where I want to put this baby so I wasn't sure what fabric to use.  I just knew I wanted to see it finished!  I had to repair one of the legs.  When I got the seat off I found that it wasn't wobbly cause it needed to be tightened, it wobbled cause it was broken!  Some clamps and wood glue followed by filler did the trick though.  You can't tell by the horrible pictures I took that I painted it and distressed it to give it a well used look.  Anyway, I love it and will probably love it more when I cover it in something I love!  I am working on several other things right now too.  Hopefully my "patience" (I can hardly wait for paint to dry for 15 minutes!) will improve and my projects will look much better.  Have a good one!

Remember the grody before. . . .

And after!  Very comfy!
